A Brief History
www.PrioryDirect.co.uk (formerly www.IntegratedLabels.Net)
is a trading division of Priory Business Group PLC. With over 20 years experience
with integrated label products we are now the UK's leading supplier.
From our close involvement with a well known web-based digital photographic printer it
became apparent that their continued expansion hinged upon the sheer efficiency of their
production and despatch operations.
There simply wasn't time to print packing notes and despatch labels separately and then
frank the parcels prior to despatch. By integrating the despatch label into the packing
note/invoice and incorporating a PPI (Postage Paid Impression) into the output template it
was possible for them to print just one A4 sheet to despatch each consignment. Single Style A
was born!
The plain format also enabled them to continue to offer third party fulfilment of orders
with the third party corporate identity being printed as part of the automatically selected
document template. Such were the quantities involved that we began holding stocks and
delivering on a call-off basis to them. A short while later the same client decided to add a
return address to the label and needed it bit more space to fit it and Single Style B was born!
It soon became apparent that there was considerable interest from their digital camera
owning client base in the plain sheets they were using to despatch the photographs. Many of
these clients ran their own e-commerce companies and could see the immediate benefit of the
integrated label product.
Through referral alone we rapidly developed a healthy market for the sheets used by the digital
photographic printer and also for a number of other formats to satisfy specific requests. A range
of Single label products was introduced:

Some while later a small holding page web site was created to increase our market presence and
then a full blown Webstore was launched in 2005.
Today we hold stocks of fifteen single label, nine double label, three treble label and two
integrated card products and this range is growing all the time. An increasing range of mail order
packaging supplies has been added for the labels to be applied to. We maintain huge stocks across
all lines to ensure that we can offer same day despatch – just as most of our clients do!
We have supplied literally millions of sheets of bespoke requirements.
Our bespoke products have covered everything, from simple terms and conditions printed on reverse,
to a full colour sheet featuring third party advertising and incorporating a total of five integrated
labels allowing the user to send out orders to its clients with returns labels, labels reminding them
of its web address and telephone number. The main despatch label even incorporates two small 'bullet
labels' which have the royal mail recorded delivery barcodes printed on them at the same time!
