For packaging that protects the planet, 4 x 8 Priory Elements Ecolabes are phenol-free, plastic-free, made from sustainable FSC certified mix credit pulp and fully recyclable. Designed without the need for a hazardous phenol top coat, these phenol-free thermal labels have an all natural vitamin C based coating that poses no risk to our environment, whilst maintaining that high quality print and colour.

Phenols and bisphenols, which may be recognised as BPA, are commonly used in thermal labels, but are incapable of fully breaking down, resulting in microplastics. These microplastics are then ingested by wildlife, therefore entering our food chain forever. Not only are they dangerous for the environment, they cause damage to our health and bodies. Switching to phenol-free can help reduce the number of microplastics in our ecosystem, make your business more eco-friendly and help ecommerce become a sustainable industry.

Even the backing paper is planet-friendly too! The material used is honey glassine, commonly made from wood pulp, which ensures fully recyclability, it's biodegradable, sustainable, and 100% plastic-free - so you don't have to worry about harmful waste, it can be disposed of environmentally just like the labels.
