Postal tubes are perfect for storing, sending, and protecting posters, prints, certificates, or just about any document which can be rolled. We supply our postal tubes in sizes from A0 to A3, B0 to B2, so we’re confident we’ll have a cardboard tube in our offering that suits your needs. Our range of postal tubes are available in the traditional cylindrical style in a range of widths depending on what, and how many of them you’re sending. All of our cylindrical postal tubes are supplied with white plastic end caps as standard, and we also have these available to buy separately if you’re cutting tubes down to size. We also stock trapezium postal tubes and square postal tubes from packaging market leaders ColomPac – completely plastic free, and shaped not only to appease couriers by being easily stackable, but help by taking up minimal storage requirements in your packing space too. All of the products in this range are made from 100% recycled fibreboard and are fully recyclable, so you can be confident that no matter which postal tube you choose, you will be making a positive environmental difference through your packaging choices.

Our cardboard postal tubes are designed to offer a simple and effective way to send any rolled documents, posters, or prints. Available in narrow, standard, and wide diameters in the traditional circular postal tube style, as well as the unconventional square and trapezium shaped tubes, we're confident you'll find a suitable tube within our range.
How do you send postal tubes?
Depending on the size of your postal tubes, you can either send them through Royal Mail or the courier network. If you’re using the traditional round postal tubes, you’ll need to check with your courier of choice as some treat tubes as ‘uglies’ as they’re not the easiest package to handle. We offer two solutions which fix the problem of round postal tubes - square postal tubes and trapezium postal tubes which easily stack and can be treated more like a box instead of a rolling awkwardly shaped item.
How much does it cost to send postal tubes?
Again, this will depend on the courier you use so it’s best to speak to them directly – it’s best to ask several providers for quotes if you’re going to be frequently sending postal tubes as some have been known to penalise these types of parcels. For small volume, and small sized tubes, the best solution may be Royal Mail. To be able to send your poster tubes by Royal Mail, they advise: “for rolled and cylinder-shaped parcels, the length of the item plus twice the diameter must not exceed 104cm, with the greatest dimension being no more than 90cm.”
How much does a postal tube weigh?
This is entirely dependent on the size and the type of postal tube you go for. If you’re sending singular products in your tubes and are happy to tightly roll your documents, then a narrow postal tube would be best for you and will be the lightest weight out of the options available to you. If you’re sending a few sheets at a time or don’t want to roll them too tightly, the standard tubes have a wider opening which will make this easier. A wide postal tube is most suited to sending lots of sheets, or for those who don’t want to tightly roll their products – these typically are the heaviest postal tubes we stock due to the larger sizing.
Are postal tubes eco-friendly?
Yes – our cardboard postal tubes are made from completely recycled fibreboard and are fully recyclable. The plastic end caps which are supplied with each round postal tube are also fully recyclable – and most importantly make the tubes reusable time and time again. Our square and trapezium postal tubes are even more eco-friendly – completely plastic free, recyclable, biodegradable, made from sustainable materials, and manufactured climate neutrally.
