Self-Adhesive vs. Gummed EcoTape™
Unsure which one to choose? Our self-adhesive EcoTape™ tape provides a cost-effective, plastic-free solution that has a solvent self-adhesive backing. It works in the same way as polypropylene tape, just without the plastic. This self-adhesive eco-friendly tape is ideal for light to medium duty sealing offering a strong adhesion to a wide range of packaging surfaces.

Our gummed EcoTape™ is great if you’re looking for something much stronger, reliable, and with a permanent seal. The gummed seal means that for the tape to work, it must be activated with water to create a tamper-evident adhesion – perfect for medium to heavy duty sealing that will ensure your packaging endures above and beyond its journey. With a high resistance to humidity and temperature, gummed EcoTape™ is suitable for use in difficult conditions and busy warehouses. As well as being biodegradable and plastic-free, our gummed eco-friendly tape can easily be recycled alongside your other cardboard packaging.
